The 2023 coin of the "Man of Labour" series is dedicated to construction workers: more than six million people work in the industry, which provides the country with housing, roads and urban infrastructure. Builders’ Day in Russia is celebrated on the second Sunday of August, and one of the best-known building projects of the 20th century is the Baikal–Amur Mainline.
