Special facts

The metallurgists of Kuznetsk, today's Novokuznetsk, quickly mastered armour steel during the war and kept the country supplied with tank armour, aluminium, rails, coal and coke. From 1932 to 1961 the city was called Stalinsk. The 10-rouble coin "Novokuznetsk" was issued in 2023 in the "Cities of Labour Valour" series.
