"The Scarlet Flower" (1952) is a feature-length cartoon by Lev Atamanov based on Sergei Aksakov's fairy tale, first printed in 1858. Aksakov wrote the tale down as he had heard it in childhood from the housekeeper Pelageya. The 25-rouble coin "The Scarlet Flower" was issued in 2023 in the "Russian (Soviet) Animation" series.
