Special facts
The Perm Territory was formed in 2005 by merging the Perm Region and the Komi-Permyak Autonomous Area; its centre is Perm. Potash salts are mined here on the western slope of the Urals. Near Kungur lies the Kungur Ice Cave, one of the best known in Russia. The 10-rouble coin "Perm Krai" was issued in 2010 in the "Russian Federation" series.
