Special facts
Nesvizh Castle on the front was the family seat of the Radziwiłłs: the stone castle was founded in 1583 by Mikołaj Krzysztof Radziwiłł, nicknamed the Orphan, and the family held it until 1939.
Appearance
One-hundred-rouble note of the 2009 pattern. The front shows Radziwill Castle in Nesvizh, Minsk Region; the back a collage on theatre and folk festivals: a violin, a tambourine, a zhaleika pipe, Slutsk belts and festival symbols. The halftone watermark repeats a fragment of the front image; the windowed metallised security thread is narrow. Size 151 × 72 mm. Dated 2009 and issued on 1 July 2016; it carries the facsimile of Pyotar Prakapovich. Printed by De La Rue, London. Notes from the commemorative set "My Country — Belarus" (1,000 copies) with a special series and number are known.
