Special facts
Five chervontsy made fifty gold rubles; in 1928 the value was reissued by the USSR State Bank.
Appearance
The 5-chervontsev note is distinguished by a four-colour guilloché at the left — blue, green, pink and brown — and the watermark «5 червонцев 1922». It is printed in black on white paper: at upper left the emblem, «БАНКОВЫЙ БИЛЕТ» and the value in words; the red number — two letters and six digits — appears twice. The back is unprinted. The note was signed by the only State Bank board known on this denomination — the one chaired by A. Sheinman.
