Special facts
Ten chervontsy made a hundred gold rubles; the USSR State Bank issued a note of this value again only in 1937.
Appearance
The guilloché on the 10-chervontsev note is two-coloured — blue and pink; the watermark reads «10 червонцев 1922». Text and frame are printed in black on white paper, with the emblem, the words «БАНКОВЫЙ БИЛЕТ» and the value in words at upper left and the red number of two letters and six digits repeated twice. The back is blank. The signatures are those of the State Bank board headed by A. Sheinman — the only board known.
