Appearance

On the 3-chervontsa note the guilloché is at the left only — pink, green and blue — and the watermark reads «3 червонца 1922». Text and frame are black on white paper; at upper left are the state emblem, the inscription «БАНКОВЫЙ БИЛЕТ» and the value in words. The red number of two series letters and six digits is printed twice, and the back is blank. The signatures are those of the State Bank board under A. Sheinman; no other board appears on this denomination.

About the period
