Special facts

At the redenomination of 1922 fifty rubles in Pyatakov notes turned into half a kopek in new money.

Blocks and cashiers

Every note carries two signatures: Chief Commissioner of the People's Bank G. Pyatakov (the same on all) and one of ten cashiers. The cashier is fixed by the last digit of the block number. 400 blocks were planned (АА-001…АА-200 and АБ-001…АБ-200) but only 117 were issued: АА-001…АА-095 and АБ-001…АБ-022, 1,000,000 notes per block — 117,000,000 in total.
