The small-format three rubles was worth an altyn, three kopeks of the 1923 ruble.
Appearance and specimens
The 3-rouble note is dark green on a green underprint, with a green back patterned all over. At top centre is the RSFSR emblem with the value below and the legal text at the bottom; size 36 × 66 mm. A specimen with a red overprint is known.
