Series and cashiers

Eight series — АА, БА, ВА, ГА, ЖА, ЗА, ИА and КА — have 100 blocks each (3001–3100), and series ЛА has 98 (3001–3098); a million notes to the block gives 898 million. The cashier, one of ten, is read from the final digit of the block: 1 Belyaev, 2 Kolosov, 3 Porokhov, 4 Onikov, 5 Dyukov, 6 Kozlov, 7 Sapunov, 8 Loshkin, 9 Silaev, 0 Sellyava.

Appearance and specimens

The printing is red. The note measures 143 × 95 mm. On the pair of uniface specimens the perforation is diagonal, «ОБРАЗЕЦ».

About the period

The state currency notes of the 1922 pattern were the first money after the redenomination: the new rouble was set equal to 10,000 roubles of all earlier issues. More about the period “State currency notes”, 1922
