The earliest Victory series of the Bank of Russia: coins of 1992–1995 for the 50th anniversary of Victory, mostly copper-nickel three roubles. Each is devoted to an event of the war’s final period: the liberation of European capitals, the meeting on the Elbe, the Arctic convoys, the Victory Parade, the Nuremberg trials and the defeat of the Kwantung Army.
The first coin, the Arctic Convoy, appeared as early as 1992 and the rest for the anniversary itself in 1995. Besides the copper-nickel three-rouble pieces, the series includes silver 2 roubles with the Victory Parade and the Nuremberg trials and silver 100 roubles with the meetings of the Allied leaders.
