Appearance

Vertical note in brown tones, 40 × 66 mm, the same frame as the 1-kopeck note but with a fine scale-pattern ground instead of the geometric one: the USSR arms at top, a large digit "2", "ДВЕ КОПЕЙКИ" and the silver-coin-parity text. Watermark: lozenges of light and dark triangles, each containing a smaller lozenge of the same kind.

About the period

The treasury change bons of 1924 were the paper small change of the first months of the 1924-pattern rouble, when small coin was in short supply. More about the period “Treasury change notes”, 1924
