What happened in 1992

• The National Bank issued the first Belarusian money, settlement notes from 50 kopecks to 100 rubles.
• Belarus signed the Lisbon Protocol and undertook to become a non-nuclear state.
• In summer Belarus joined the International Monetary Fund.
