“The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” series

In the catalogue: collector coins — 38.

Silver roubles with the emblems of the services and branches, from the Strategic Missile Forces and the submarine forces to the engineering troops and the chemical defence troops. The series began in 2005 with coins for the marines, and new coins are issued for the branches’ anniversaries.

In the early years each branch received three roubles: one with the emblem, one with a serviceman and one with the branch’s equipment.
