1000 rubles — RSFSR (1919) — Specimen

Special facts
The Tauride Palace on the back of the American notes is the same subject as on the dumka of 1917: the building where the State Duma sat.
Appearance
The largest of the 1919 notes — 168 × 95 mm. Like the 50 roubles, it is known in specimens with and without the "SPECIMEN" overprint, without series and number. The design is common to the American series: the goddess against a city panorama and the figure 1000 in the corners, with the Tauride Palace, the arms of the Provisional Government and the denomination on the back.
About the period
The credit notes of 1918–1919 were ordered in America by the Provisional Government, but it was the authorities of Siberia and the Far East that received them. More about the period “ABNC credit notes”, 1918 — 1919
